10-Day Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada
This private 10-day itinerary combines Egypt’s iconic antiquities with a relaxing Nile cruise and a seaside break on the Red Sea. Begin in Cairo with the Giza Plateau, Saqqara, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then fly south to Aswan to board a 3-night, five-star Nile cruise calling at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor. After disembarking, travel by road to Hurghada for two nights of beach time and optional water activities before returning to Cairo for departure. The program is fully private and can be tailored to your preferences; a licensed Egyptologist accompanies all archaeological visits.

Itinerary
Day Day 1 — Arrival in Cairo — Transfer to Hotel
Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met and assisted with luggage and immigration formalities. Transfer to your hotel, complete check-in, and receive a welcome drink. Your guide will review the itinerary and confirm the pick-up time for the next day's excursions. The rest of the day is free to rest or explore nearby areas at your leisure.

Day Day 2 — Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara & Memphis
After breakfast meet your Egyptologist and travel to the Giza Plateau to see the three pyramids and the Sphinx. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Saqqara to visit Djoser’s Step Pyramid. The afternoon includes a stop at the open-air museum in Memphis to view its ancient monuments. Return to your Cairo hotel for the night.

Day Day 3 — Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Khan El-Khalili
Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum to view its extensive collections, including treasures from Tutankhamun. After a midday meal, explore the Citadel of Salah El-Din and then stroll through the historic Khan El-Khalili bazaar. Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Day Day 4 — Fly to Aswan — Aswan Sightseeing — Embark Cruise
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival explore Aswan’s highlights with your guide: the High Dam, a motorboat ride to Agilika Island to visit the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk. In the evening board your Nile cruise and settle into your cabin.

Day Day 5 — Kom Ombo & Edfu
Sail toward Kom Ombo and visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Return to the ship for lunch on deck as you continue along the Nile. In the afternoon visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus — typically reached by traditional carriage — before returning to the cruise for dinner and evening entertainment.

Day Day 6 — Luxor — West and East Banks
Arrive in Luxor and cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch, then tour the vast Karnak temple complex and Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Overnight aboard the cruise in Luxor.

Day Day 7 — Disembark Cruise — Transfer to Hurghada
After breakfast and cruise check-out, drive from Luxor/nearby disembarkation point to Hurghada on the Red Sea. On arrival you will be transferred to your Hurghada hotel and have the remainder of the day to use the resort facilities.

Day Day 8 — Free Day in Hurghada
A full day at leisure in Hurghada to relax on the beach, swim in the Red Sea, or join optional activities such as snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing or deep-sea fishing (available at extra cost).

Day Day 9 — Fly Hurghada to Cairo — Overnight in Cairo
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Hurghada airport for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival transfer to your Cairo hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day Day 10 — Departure from Cairo
After breakfast you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight. Assistance with luggage and departure formalities is provided.
