Itinerary

Day Day 01 — Welcome Aboard in Luxor

Arrive at the private dock in Luxor and board the cruise. Be welcomed with a traditional Zaffa procession before settling into your cabin and enjoying lunch onboard. In the afternoon visit Luxor Temple and the vast Karnak Temple Complex with your Egyptologist. Return to the ship for afternoon tea and relax on deck before an evening reception and dinner prepared by the onboard chefs.

Day Day 02 — West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut

After breakfast cross to Luxor’s West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, visiting selected royal tombs. Continue to the Valley of the Queens and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon on the return to the Nile. Enjoy lunch on board while the ship sails south toward Esna, with time to relax and an evening movie as you continue toward Edfu.

Day Day 03 — Edfu Temple and Sailing to Kom Ombo

Disembark at Edfu for a guided visit to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved Ptolemaic temples. Return to the cruise for lunch and sail toward Kom Ombo. Onboard activities may include a cooking demonstration. In the evening visit the unique double temple at Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then return for dinner and an Egyptian Night with music and dancing aboard.

Day Day 04 — Philae, Aswan Quarries & Felucca Sail

Arrive in Aswan and take a short boat transfer to Agilkia Island to visit Philae Temple. Explore Aswan’s ancient granite quarries and view the Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch board a traditional felucca, weather permitting, for a tranquil sail around Elephantine Island and past Kitchener’s Botanical Garden and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. Return to the ship for afternoon tea and conclude the evening with a farewell gala dinner and traditional dervish performance.

Day Day 05 — Disembark in Aswan

After an early breakfast complete check-out procedures and disembark at approximately 8:00 AM in Aswan to begin onward travel arrangements.
