Nile Quest Nile Cruise
The M/S Nile Quest is a deluxe five-star Nile vessel launched in 2002 and refurbished in 2006. The refit refreshed cabins and public areas and added contemporary conveniences. The ship operates multi-day itineraries between Luxor and Aswan, combining comfortable onboard facilities with guided shore visits to the Nile’s principal archaeological sites.

Itinerary
Day Day 1 (4D/3N program) — Embarkation in Aswan — High Dam, Philae & Unfinished Obelisk
Arrive and board before lunch, settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, then take a motorboat to Agilkia Island to explore the island temple of Philae. Finish the day with a visit to the nearby Unfinished Obelisk quarry. Dinner and overnight aboard in Aswan.

Day Day 2 (4D/3N program) — Optional Abu Simbel — Kom Ombo
Early morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel by road or flight (extra cost) to see the twin rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Return to the cruise and sail north toward Kom Ombo. Visit the twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, including its medical reliefs and the site’s small crocodile museum. Overnight as you steam toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 (4D/3N program) — Edfu by Horse Carriage — Karnak & Luxor
Reach Edfu and ride a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved Ptolemaic monuments. Return to the boat for lunch as you sail to Luxor. In the late afternoon visit the Karnak Temple complex and then Luxor Temple, both impressive at sunset. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day Day 4 (4D/3N program) — Luxor West Bank — Valley of the Kings and Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, tour the West Bank: visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings (with optional entry to Tutankhamun’s tomb at extra cost), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. End of cruise services.

Day Day 1 (5D/4N program) — Embarkation in Luxor — Karnak and Luxor Temples
Board before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon explore the Karnak Temple complex—walk the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes and the Hypostyle Hall—and continue to Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea and relaxation on the sun deck. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 2 (5D/4N program) — West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut — Sail to Esna
Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; optional tomb entrances such as Tutankhamun or Seti I at extra cost), the terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and begin sailing south toward Esna, passing through the Esna lock. An optional pre-dawn hot air balloon flight over Luxor is available (extra cost). Dinner and overnight as you continue toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 (5D/4N program) — Edfu by Carriage — Temple of Horus
Arrive at Edfu and take a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, a remarkably intact Ptolemaic sanctuary. Continue the cruise north toward Kom Ombo where the twin temple to Sobek and Horus awaits (details of subsequent days follow the same route between Kom Ombo and Aswan).
