M/S Semramis II is a traditional Nile cruise vessel offering fully serviced voyages between Luxor and Aswan. The boat combines comfortable cabins and river-deck amenities with guided excursions to the major archaeological sites along the Nile. Typical sailings call at Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, and departures are scheduled from either Luxor or Aswan.

Itinerary
Day 4 Days / 03 Nights — Day 1 — Arrive Aswan — Embark and Afternoon Visits
Board the vessel before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views of Lake Nasser, then cross to Agilkia Island by motorboat to explore Philae Temple. Finish with a visit to the nearby Unfinished Obelisk and the ancient granite quarries. Return to the boat for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 4 Days / 03 Nights — Day 2 — Optional Abu Simbel; Kom Ombo
An early optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available by road or flight (extra cost). After returning to the ship, sail north toward Kom Ombo and visit the twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, with its notable medical reliefs and small crocodile museum. Evening and overnight as you continue toward Edfu.

Day 4 Days / 03 Nights — Day 3 — Edfu by Carriage and Luxor East Bank
Travel to Edfu by horse-drawn carriage to visit the excellently preserved Temple of Horus. Return to the cruise for lunch while sailing to Luxor. In the afternoon tour the Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple, then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board in Luxor.

Day 4 Days / 03 Nights — Day 4 — Luxor West Bank and Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, explore the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; Tutankhamun optional at extra cost), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. End of cruise services and departure.

Day 5 Days / 04 Nights — Day 1 — Welcome to Luxor — Karnak & Luxor Temples
Embark before lunch and take time to settle in. In the afternoon visit the vast Karnak Temple complex, including the Hypostyle Hall, sacred lakes and obelisks, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea, dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 5 Days / 04 Nights — Day 2 — West Bank — Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut & Sail to Esna
Spend the morning on Luxor’s West Bank visiting three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings (optional extra entry to certain tombs), the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch on board, sail south toward Esna, pass through the Esna lock and continue overnight toward Edfu. An optional early-morning hot air balloon flight over Luxor is available at extra cost.

Day 5 Days / 04 Nights — Day 3 — Edfu by Carriage; Sail to Kom Ombo
Reach Edfu by traditional horse-drawn carriage and visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s most complete ancient temples. Return to the ship, sail to Kom Ombo and explore its unusual twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Overnight as the cruise continues toward Aswan.

Day 5 Days / 04 Nights — Day 4 — Aswan — High Dam, Philae and Unfinished Obelisk
Visit Aswan’s principal sights, including the High Dam, the island temple of Philae reached by motorboat, and the Unfinished Obelisk and quarry area. Time in the afternoon can be used for an optional visit to a Nubian village (extra cost). Overnight and dinner on board in Aswan.
Day 5 Days / 04 Nights — Day 5 — Disembarkation in Aswan — Optional Excursions
After breakfast, disembarkation procedures. Guests remaining in Aswan may arrange optional excursions such as Abu Simbel (extra cost) or transfers onward by road or air.
