Itinerary

Day 4 Days – Day 1 — Welcome to Aswan — Embarkation and Afternoon Sightseeing

Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit Aswan High Dam for expansive views over Lake Nasser, then cross by motorboat to Agilkia Island to see the temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. A short visit to the ancient granite quarries reveals the Unfinished Obelisk. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 4 Days – Day 2 — Optional Abu Simbel — Sail to Kom Ombo

An early morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available by road or flight (extra cost) to see the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. After returning to the ship, sail north toward Kom Ombo and visit the unique twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, notable for its medical reliefs and small crocodile museum. Evening sailing toward Edfu and overnight on board.

Day 4 Days – Day 3 — Edfu by Carriage — Luxor East Bank in the Afternoon

Arrive at Edfu and take a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temple complexes, with richly carved reliefs recounting the story of Horus and Seth. Return to the ship for lunch and sail to Luxor. In the afternoon explore the Karnak Temple complex and later visit Luxor Temple as the lights come on. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4 Days – Day 4 — Luxor West Bank — Valley of the Kings and Disembarkation

After breakfast and check-out, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, with entrance to three royal tombs included (optional extra for specific tombs). Continue to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and view the Colossi of Memnon before concluding your cruise.

Day 5 Days – Day 1 — Embarkation in Luxor — Karnak and Luxor Temples

Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the vast Karnak Temple complex, including the Hypostyle Hall and the Precinct of Amun-Re, then continue to Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea and relaxation on the sun deck. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 5 Days – Day 2 — West Bank — Royal Tombs and Hatshepsut

Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where three tombs are included; optional entrances to additional tombs such as Tutankhamun or Seti I are available at extra cost. Visit the terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Return to the ship and continue sailing; optional hot air balloon rides are offered independently.
