MS Alexander The Great is an ultra-deluxe Nile cruise vessel operating between Luxor and Aswan. Itineraries range from 4 to 8 days and include guided shore excursions to the Nile Valley’s major archaeological sites. Itinerary
Day Day 1 (04 Days – 03 Nights Program, Wednesday) — Welcome to Aswan – Philae Temple, High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk
Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit Aswan’s modern engineering marvel, the High Dam, then cross by boat to Agilkia Island to see the relocated Philae Temple dedicated to Isis. Finish the afternoon at the granite quarries to view the Unfinished Obelisk in situ. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day Day 2 (04 Days – 03 Nights Program, Wednesday) — Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples – Sailing the Nile
Early morning sail toward Kom Ombo and explore its unusual double temple and the nearby crocodile museum. Continue to Edfu with lunch on board. In the afternoon take a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the exceptionally well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu. Afterwards the cruise continues toward Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day Day 3 (04 Days – 03 Nights Program, Wednesday) — Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut & Memnon
This morning explore the West Bank necropolis: visit three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings (optional extra for Tutankhamun), the terraced Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 4 (04 Days – 03 Nights Program, Wednesday) — Luxor East Bank – Karnak & Luxor Temples | Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, visit the vast Karnak Temple Complex — stroll the avenue of sphinxes and enter the Hypostyle Hall — then continue to Luxor Temple. Following the morning tour you will disembark.

Day Day 1 (05 Days / 04 Nights Program, Saturday) — Welcome to Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples
Embark before lunch and take time to get settled aboard. In the afternoon tour the Karnak Temple complex and then visit Luxor Temple, returning to the cruise for tea on the sun deck. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 2 (05 Days / 04 Nights Program, Saturday) — Luxor West Bank – Royal Tombs & Temples | Sail to Esna
Visit the West Bank’s principal sites: three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings (with optional extra entries), the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and begin sailing toward Esna, passing through the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight while underway toward Edfu.
