Concerto Nile Cruise

Itinerary
Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Aswan – Embarkation & Afternoon Sights
Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, then continue by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. The late-afternoon visit includes the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 2 — Optional Abu Simbel & Kom Ombo
An early-morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available by road or flight (extra cost) to see the twin rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Return to the cruise and sail north toward Kom Ombo. Visit the unusual twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, and view the site’s medical reliefs and small crocodile museum. Dinner and overnight while sailing toward Edfu.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 3 — Edfu Temple & Luxor East Bank
In Edfu take a traditional horse carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Return to the vessel for lunch as you sail to Luxor. In the afternoon explore the Karnak Temple complex and later visit Luxor Temple on the city’s East Bank as the lights come on at dusk. Dinner and overnight onboard in Luxor.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 4 — Luxor West Bank – Royal Necropolis & Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, visit the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; entry to Tutankhamun’s tomb available at an extra charge), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Conclude your cruise on disembarkation.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples
Embarkation before lunch and time to settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the vast Karnak Temple complex, including the Avenue of Sphinxes and the Hypostyle Hall, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea on the sun deck, dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 2 — West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Sail to Esna
Explore the Valley of the Kings with visits to three tombs (optional entrance to Tutankhamun or Seti I at extra cost). Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and view the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch, then begin sailing toward Esna and experience passing through the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight while sailing toward Edfu. An optional early-morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor is offered at extra cost.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 3 — Edfu by Carriage – Kom Ombo
Morning horse carriage ride to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. After the visit return to the vessel and sail to Kom Ombo. Explore the twin temple of Kom Ombo with its reliefs and small museum, then continue the cruise toward Aswan for dinner and overnight.
Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 4 — Aswan: High Dam, Philae & Quarries
Visit the Aswan High Dam for views over Lake Nasser, then cross to Agilkia Island to tour Philae Temple by motorboat. Also visit the Unfinished Obelisk and the nearby granite quarries before returning to the ship for overnight in Aswan.
Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 5 — Optional Abu Simbel Excursion / Disembarkation
An optional early-morning trip to Abu Simbel is available by road or flight (extra cost). The excursion visits the remarkable temples of Ramses II and Nefertari carved into the sandstone cliffs. Conclude the cruise with disembarkation following the morning program.
