Blue Shadow Nile Cruise
The MS Blue Shadow is a five-star Nile cruise vessel offering a selection of 4-, 5- or 8-day programs between Luxor and Aswan. The ship features 54 deluxe cabins and 3 suites, each appointed with modern conveniences comparable to international deluxe hotels. Itinerary
Day Day 1 — Embarkation and Aswan Afternoon Tours (4-day program)
Board the vessel before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, then continue by motorboat to Philae (Agilkia Island) to explore the island temple complex dedicated to Isis. Finish with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day Day 2 — Abu Simbel (optional) and Kom Ombo
An optional early-morning excursion to Abu Simbel is available by road or flight (additional cost) to see the twin temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. After returning to the boat, sail north toward Kom Ombo and visit the unique double sanctuary devoted to Sobek and Horus, which also houses medical reliefs and a small crocodile museum. Overnight on board as you continue toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 — Edfu and Luxor East Bank
Reach Edfu and take a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, to view its carved reliefs and sacred chambers. Reboard for lunch while sailing to Luxor. In the afternoon visit the Karnak Temple Complex—home to colossal statues and the Hypostyle Hall—and continue to Luxor Temple to explore its illuminated courtyards and obelisks. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day Day 4 — Luxor West Bank and Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, cross to Luxor’s West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings (entrance to three tombs included; optional extra-cost tickets such as Tutankhamun’s tomb available), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Conclude the program at the agreed disembarkation point.

Day Day 1 — Embarkation and Luxor East Bank (5-day program)
Embark before lunch and take time to get settled. In the afternoon explore the Karnak Temple complex—walk the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes, the Precinct of Amun-Re and the Hypostyle Hall—then visit Luxor Temple later in the day. Return to the ship for tea, dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day Day 2 — Luxor West Bank and Sail to Esna
Visit the West Bank sites including three tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch aboard, the cruise sails toward Esna and passes through the Esna lock while continuing on toward Edfu. Optional hot-air balloon flights over Luxor are available separately.
