M/Y Alyssa is a Nile cruise vessel distinguished by custom interiors conceived by Swiss architect Pia Schmid. The ship emphasizes handcrafted fittings, color harmony with the river environment, and environmentally conscious design. Onboard facilities include a panoramic wellness center with mud bath, sauna, jacuzzi and a multi-purpose gym; a licensed masseur is available. Public and cabin furnishings were exclusively designed for the vessel rather than selected from a catalogue.

Itinerary
Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Aswan — Embarkation & Afternoon Visits
Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit Aswan’s modern High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, then continue by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Finish the afternoon with a stop at the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 2 — Optional Abu Simbel — Sail to Kom Ombo
An early-morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available by road or by flight (additional charge). The site comprises the twin rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, relocated to escape the waters of Lake Nasser. Back on board, the ship sails north toward Kom Ombo. Visit the twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, and view the site’s medical reliefs and the small crocodile museum. Dinner and overnight as you sail toward Edfu.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 3 — Edfu Temple & Luxor East Bank
In Edfu ride by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved classical temples. After returning to the boat, sail to Luxor and enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon visit the Karnak Temple complex with its hypostyle hall and monumental avenue, then continue to Luxor Temple to appreciate its evening atmosphere. Dinner and overnight aboard in Luxor.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 4 — Luxor West Bank — Disembarkation
After breakfast and check-out, explore the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings (entry to three tombs included; optional access to Tutankhamun’s tomb at additional cost), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. This concludes the cruise program.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Luxor — Karnak & Luxor Temples
Embarkation before lunch and time to settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit Karnak Temple complex — walk the avenue of sphinxes and enter the Great Hypostyle Hall — then proceed to Luxor Temple for a relaxed visit as the light softens. Return to the boat for tea, dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 2 — West Bank — Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut
Morning on the West Bank to visit a selection of royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings (three tombs typically included; some tombs such as Tutankhamun’s require an additional ticket). Continue to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut set into the cliffs. (Program continues with sailing and further visits to Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan as per the 5-day option.)
