Itinerary
Day 04 Days – Day 1 — Arrival in Aswan — Embark & Philae, High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk (Afternoon)
Board the ship before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam, then take a short boat ride to Agilkia Island to explore the temple of Isis at Philae. Finish with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk in the quarries to see ancient stone-working remains. Return to the vessel for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 04 Days – Day 2 — Kom Ombo & Edfu — Sailing the Nile
Early sail toward Kom Ombo for a visit to the distinctive double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then continue toward Edfu. After lunch on board, explore Edfu Temple by traditional horse-drawn carriage — one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries. Evening sailing toward Luxor; dinner and overnight on board.

Day 04 Days – Day 3 — Luxor West Bank — Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon
Cross to Luxor’s West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; entry to additional tombs such as Tutankhamun is available at extra cost), the terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 04 Days – Day 4 — Luxor East Bank — Karnak & Luxor Temples • Disembark
After breakfast, visit the vast Karnak Temple complex, including the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes and the Hypostyle Hall. Continue to Luxor Temple to complete your exploration of the city’s principal monuments. Disembarkment follows the morning visit.

Day 05 Days – Day 1 — Embarkation in Luxor — Karnak & Luxor (Afternoon)
Board the ship before lunch and make yourself comfortable. In the afternoon explore Karnak Temple, walking the grand avenues and monumental halls, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. Return to the vessel for tea, dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 05 Days – Day 2 — Luxor West Bank — Royal Tombs & Temples • Sail to Esna
Today’s program visits the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; optional extra for other tombs), the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch return to the ship and begin sailing toward Esna, passing through the Esna lock en route to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 05 Days – Day 3 — Edfu & Kom Ombo — Ancient Temples
Sail on to Edfu and visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus, typically reached by horse-drawn carriage from the landing. Continue cruising to Kom Ombo for a visit to the unusual twin temple complex devoted to Sobek and Horus. Overnight and meals are provided on board while the ship continues toward Aswan.

Day 05 Days – Day 4 — Aswan — High Dam, Philae & Unfinished Obelisk
Arrive in Aswan for visits to the modern High Dam, the island temple of Philae dedicated to Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. Time permitting, optional visits such as a Nubian village can be arranged at extra cost. Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 05 Days – Day 5 — Disembarkation in Aswan — Optional Excursions
After breakfast disembark the vessel. From Aswan guests may arrange optional excursions such as a visit to Abu Simbel (by road or flight, extra cost) or spend additional time exploring Aswan’s markets and islands.
