Itinerary

Day 4-Day Itinerary — Day 1 (Friday) — Arrival in Aswan & Embarkation — Sail to Kom Ombo

Arrive at Aswan airport or train station and receive meet-and-assist service. A resident Egyptologist accompanies a short Aswan tour to Philae Temple, the High Dam and the local bazaar before you board the dahabiya. Lunch is served aboard, then the boat departs for Kom Ombo where you spend the night.

Day 4-Day Itinerary — Day 2 (Saturday) — Kom Ombo and Gebel el Silsila

After a relaxed breakfast, visit the Greco‑Roman temple at Kom Ombo. Continue cruising to Gebel el Silsila (the Speos of Hormheb) for a quieter riverside stop. Dinner may be served on the upper deck or, weather permitting, in the illuminated temple grounds.

Day 4-Day Itinerary — Day 3 (Sunday) — Edfu Temple & Egyptian Evening

This morning visit Edfu Temple by horse-drawn carriage and explore the nearby bazaar. Later sail to a Nile island for a riverside dinner (or dine on deck). In the evening enjoy an Egyptian-themed celebration with local cuisine and music as the dahabiya makes its way toward Esna. Overnight in Esna.

Day 4-Day Itinerary — Day 4 (Monday) — Disembark in Esna — Luxor Sightseeing and Departure

After breakfast disembark in Esna and transfer to Luxor for a guided tour of the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon, followed by Karnak Temple. After the tour you are transferred to Luxor airport or train station for onward travel.

Day 5-Day Itinerary — Day 1 (Monday) — Arrival in Luxor — Luxor Sights & Embarkation in Esna

Meet your tour manager on arrival at Luxor airport or train station and join an Egyptologist for morning visits to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, the Colossi of Memnon and Karnak Temple. After sightseeing transfer to Esna to embark the dahabiya and settle in for the night.

Day 5-Day Itinerary — Day 2 (Tuesday) — Sail to Edfu — Temple Visit

After breakfast the boat sails toward Edfu, arriving around midday. Visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage and browse the extensive bazaar. Lunch is served on board before continuing to the Silsela Hormheb area. Dinner may be served in the temple grounds, on an island or on the upper deck.

Day 5-Day Itinerary — Day 3 (Wednesday) — Kom Ombo and Sailing to Aswan

Visit the Greco‑Roman temple at Kom Ombo in the morning, then enjoy the scenic cruise toward Aswan. Observe daily river life along the banks as you make your way to an overnight mooring close to Aswan.

Day 5-Day Itinerary — Day 4 (Thursday) — Philae, High Dam and Aswan Bazaar

After breakfast disembark for a guided visit to Philae Temple and the High Dam, followed by free time to walk the Aswan bazaar. Return to the dahabiya for an evening in Aswan and an overnight stay aboard.

Day 5-Day Itinerary — Day 5 (Friday) — Disembarkation in Aswan

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan airport or train station for your onward journey.
