Itinerary

Day Day 1 (4-day program) — Embarkation in Aswan — High Dam, Philae & Unfinished Obelisk

Board the vessel before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the High Dam for sweeping views over Lake Nasser, then cross by motorboat to Agilkia Island to explore the temple dedicated to Isis. The visit continues to the ancient granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk. Return to the ship for dinner and an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day Day 2 (4-day program) — Optional Abu Simbel — Kom Ombo

An optional early-morning excursion to Abu Simbel (by road or flight at additional cost) can be arranged to visit Ramses II’s and Nefertari’s rock-cut temples. Back on board, the ship sails north to Kom Ombo where you will visit the unique twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, with its medical reliefs and on-site displays. Evening sailing toward Edfu with dinner aboard.

Day Day 3 (4-day program) — Edfu and Luxor East Bank

In Edfu take a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the well-preserved Temple of Horus and discover its richly carved interiors. After returning to the ship, sail to Luxor and enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon and early evening visit the vast Karnak Temple complex and the illuminated Luxor Temple before returning to the vessel for dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 4 (4-day program) — Luxor West Bank — Disembarkation

After breakfast, check out and visit the West Bank’s royal necropolis. See three tombs in the Valley of the Kings (with the option to pay extra for specific tombs such as Tutankhamun), then visit the terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. This concludes the 4-day program.

Day Day 1 (5-day program) — Embarkation in Luxor — Karnak & Luxor Temples

Embark before lunch and get acquainted with the ship. In the afternoon explore Karnak Temple’s monumental pylons and vast Hypostyle Hall, then continue to Luxor Temple in the city center. Return to the vessel for tea, dinner, and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day Day 2 (5-day program) — West Bank — Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut | Sail to Esna

Cross to the West Bank to enter the Valley of the Kings, where three royal tombs are included (entrance to additional tombs such as Tutankhamun or Seti I available at extra cost). Visit the rock-cut Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and later sail toward Esna, passing villages and agricultural scenery and transiting the Esna lock. Dinner and overnight while sailing toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 (5-day program) — Kom Ombo and onward sailing

Spend the afternoon at Kom Ombo to visit the distinctive twin temple devoted to Sobek and Horus, and view the reliefs and small museum exhibits. The cruise continues northward with evening activities and overnight on board.

Day Day 4 (5-day program) — Aswan — High Dam, Philae & Unfinished Obelisk

Arrive in Aswan and visit the High Dam for panoramic views of Lake Nasser, then reach Philae by motorboat to explore the island temple of Isis. Also visit the nearby Unfinished Obelisk and granite quarries. Optional activities in Aswan may include a Nubian village visit or an excursion to Abu Simbel (each at extra cost). Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.

Day Day 5 (5-day program) — Disembarkation in Aswan

Breakfast on board followed by check-out and onward transfers. This concludes the 5-day cruise itinerary.
