Radamis II is a deluxe Nile cruise operating short itineraries between Luxor and Aswan. Available as a 3-night (Aswan to Luxor) or 4-night (Luxor to Aswan) program, the cruise visits major Upper Egypt sites including Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. Onboard facilities include individually controlled air conditioning, a pool and sun deck, LCD television and satellite channels, Wi-Fi, minibar, laundry service, panoramic windows and bathrooms with full-size bathtubs. Excursions are led by English-speaking guides.

Itinerary

Day Day 1 (4 Days / 3 Nights — Embark in Aswan) — Embarkation and Aswan highlights

Board the vessel before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, continue by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, then see the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. Return to the ship for evening dining and overnight in Aswan.

Day Day 2 (4D/3N) — Optional Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo

An early-morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel (by road or flight, extra cost) is available. After returning to the boat, sail north toward Kom Ombo and visit the twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, including its archaeological displays. Dinner and overnight as the ship continues toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 (4D/3N) — Edfu and Luxor East Bank

In the morning take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu to explore the well-preserved Temple of Horus. After returning to the cruise and lunch on board, sail to Luxor and visit the Karnak Temple Complex in the afternoon, followed by Luxor Temple at dusk. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 4 (4D/3N — Disembark) — Luxor West Bank and disembarkation

After breakfast and check-out, tour the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; optional entry to Tutankhamun's tomb at additional cost), the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Disembark at the conclusion of the morning program.

Day Day 1 (5 Days / 4 Nights — Embark in Luxor) — Welcome to Luxor — Karnak & Luxor Temples

Embark before lunch and take time to settle in. In the afternoon explore the expansive Karnak Temple Complex, including the Avenue of Sphinxes and the Great Hypostyle Hall, then visit Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea, dinner and an overnight in Luxor.

Day Day 2 (5D/4N) — West Bank — Royal Tombs; sail to Esna

Visit the West Bank sites: the Valley of the Kings (three royal tombs included; optional additional tombs at extra cost), the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch return to the cruise and begin sailing south toward Esna, passing through the Esna lock. An optional early-morning hot air balloon over Luxor is available (extra cost). Dinner and overnight while cruising toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 (5D/4N) — Edfu by carriage — continue to Kom Ombo

Reach Edfu by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Kom Ombo where you will visit the twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Overnight as the cruise makes its way toward Aswan.

Day Day 4 (5D/4N) — Aswan: High Dam, Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk

Arrive in Aswan and visit the High Dam with views over Lake Nasser. Continue by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, then see the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient quarries. Enjoy dinner and an overnight on board in Aswan.

Day Day 5 (5D/4N — Disembark) — Disembarkation and optional excursions

After breakfast check out and disembark. From Aswan guests may choose an optional excursion to Abu Simbel (extra cost) before onward travel.
