Meroe Dahabiya Nile Cruise
Meroe is a restored dahabiya offering an intimate, low-profile Nile experience. Rebuilt in 2017, the vessel features panoramic suites, eight luxury cabins and one standard cabin, each with large windows and private bathroom facilities. Public areas include a dining room, bars, a reading lounge and a sun deck; onboard conveniences list WiFi, a small pool, TV and minibar. Safety and guest care are provided with full fire-safety measures, a sprinkling system, a doctor on call and an accompanying motorboat for calm conditions.

Itinerary
Day Day 1 — Esna (Arrival)
Arrive at Luxor airport or train station and meet your tour manager. An Egyptologist will lead a visit to Esna, including the Temple of Khnum, followed by time to browse local streets and markets. Overnight aboard the dahabiya in Esna.

Day Day 2 — El Kab & Edfu
Sail toward El Kab on the East Bank to see the Temple of Nekhbet and the cliffside tombs, reached after a walk through a fishermen’s village. In the afternoon the boat arrives at Edfu for a guided visit to the Greco-Roman Temple of Horus; access is by horse-and-carriage through the town before returning to the dahabiya and sailing to a nearby island.

Day Day 3 — Sail & Swim
A relaxed day focused on the river. After an optional morning walk and breakfast, enjoy scenic sailing. In the afternoon the dahabiya stops at an island for a walk or a swim. At dusk there may be the chance to explore a desert valley with engraved boulders before overnighting at the foot of the illuminated Gebel Silsileh temple.

Day Day 4 — Gebel Silsileh
Visit Gebel Silsileh where the Nile narrows between mountain ranges. Explore the small temple of Horemheb and the sandstone quarries used in antiquity, then relax at a riverside café for tea and shisha. The afternoon includes a riverbank stop for lunch and swimming.

Day Day 5 — Kom Ombo
Morning visit to the twin temple of Kom Ombo, beautifully sited on a bend of the Nile and largely Ptolemaic in construction. After touring the temple enjoy the Crocodile Museum, which displays mummified crocodiles and related finds from the region.

Day Day 6 — Aswan (Departure)
Breakfast on board before transfer to Aswan airport or train station for your onward travel.
