Itinerary

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Aswan – Embarkation and Afternoon Excursions

Embark before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Aswan High Dam for panoramic views over Lake Nasser, then reach Philae Temple by motorboat on Agilkia Island to explore its island setting and reliefs. Finish with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 2 — Optional Abu Simbel – Sail to Kom Ombo

Early morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel (available by road or flight at extra cost) to see the twin temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Return to the ship and begin sailing north. In the afternoon visit the twin temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Horus, and its small crocodile museum. Dinner and overnight as the cruise sails toward Edfu.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 3 — Edfu Temple and Luxor East Bank

Take a traditional horse carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, then return to the boat and sail to Luxor with lunch on board. In the afternoon explore the vast Karnak Temple complex and later visit Luxor Temple as evening falls. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 04 Days / 03 Nights – Day 4 — Luxor West Bank – Disembarkation

After breakfast and check-out, visit the West Bank sites including the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; optional entry to Tutankhamun’s tomb at extra cost), the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Conclude your cruise arrangements on disembarkation.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 1 — Welcome to Luxor – Karnak and Luxor Temples

Embarkation before lunch and time to settle into your cabin. In the afternoon visit the Karnak Temple Complex—walk the avenue of sphinxes, enter the Hypostyle Hall and explore the Precinct of Amun-Re—then continue to Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for tea, dinner, and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 2 — Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings and Deir el-Bahari

Explore the West Bank: visit three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings (optional additional tombs such as Tutankhamun or Seti I at extra cost), the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and begin sailing south toward Esna.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 3 — Edfu – Temple of Horus

Arrive at Edfu and reach the Temple of Horus by horse carriage. Explore the well-preserved reliefs and sacred chambers that tell the story of Horus and Seth. After the visit return to the vessel and continue cruising toward Kom Ombo.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 4 — Kom Ombo and Arrival in Aswan

Visit Kom Ombo’s unusual twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, including the site’s medical reliefs and crocodile displays. Sail on toward Aswan for an overnight stay, with evening at leisure on board.

Day 05 Days / 04 Nights – Day 5 — Aswan Highlights – High Dam, Philae and Unfinished Obelisk

In Aswan visit the High Dam and enjoy views across Lake Nasser, then take a motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Also visit the Unfinished Obelisk and the ancient granite quarries. Optional excursions, including a visit to a Nubian village or an early-morning trip to Abu Simbel, are available at additional cost. Conclude your cruise in Aswan with disembarkation arrangements.
