M/S Salacia is an all-suite Nile cruise vessel offering multi-night cruises between Luxor and Aswan. The ship is arranged across five decks and provides a range of suites: a master suite (approximately 65 m² with five full-size windows, separate bedroom and lounge, dining area, bar, and two WCs), 18 royal suites (approx. 28 m² with two full-size windows, lounge area and two WCs), nine stateroom suites (approx. 21 m² with two full-size windows and one W.C.) and three single staterooms (approx. 15 m² with one full-size window). Onboard facilities include multiple lounges and bars, a main restaurant, café, spa and fitness areas (gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, massage room), pool on the lido terrace, shaded sundecks, gift shop, ship photographer and laundry/room service. The ship sails scheduled departures every Saturday from Luxor and every Wednesday from Aswan on the Luxor / Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan route.

Itinerary

Day Day 1 — Welcome to Aswan – Embarkation & Afternoon Sights

Embarkation before lunch and time to settle into your suite. Afternoon visits include the Aswan High Dam with views over Lake Nasser, Philae Temple reached by motorboat to Agilkia Island, and the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.

Day Day 2 — Abu Simbel (Optional) and Kom Ombo

Early-morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel by road or flight (extra cost). Return to the vessel and begin sailing north toward Kom Ombo. Afternoon visit to the twin Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, including the small crocodile museum. Dinner and overnight as you sail toward Edfu.

Day Day 3 — Edfu Temple and Luxor East Bank

At Edfu take a traditional horse carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Return to the boat and sail to Luxor with lunch on board. In the afternoon visit the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day Day 4 — Luxor West Bank – Disembarkation

Breakfast on board, check-out and morning visits to the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings (three tombs included; optional entry to Tutankhamun's tomb at extra cost), the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. End of cruise services.

Day Day 1 (5-day) — Welcome to Luxor – Embarkation & Karnak/Luxor Temples

Embarkation before lunch with time to settle into your suite. Afternoon guided visit to the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple.

Day Day 2 (5-day) — Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut

Morning tour of the West Bank visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. An optional early-morning hot air balloon flight is available at extra cost.

Day Day 3 (5-day) — Edfu and Kom Ombo

Visit Edfu by horse carriage to see the Temple of Horus, then return to the cruiser and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Afternoon visit to Kom Ombo Temple before evening cruising toward Aswan.

Day Day 4 (5-day) — Aswan – High Dam, Philae & Unfinished Obelisk

Morning sightseeing in Aswan visiting the High Dam, Philae Temple on Agilkia Island reached by motorboat, and the Unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarries.

Day Day 5 (5-day) — Disembarkation / Final Morning

Final breakfast on board, check-out and disembarkation in Aswan. An optional visit to a nearby Nubian village may be arranged.
